Software & Game Developer

About Me

I'm Deo Subarno, also known as Kochan, a Software & Game Developer based in Indonesia. I keep things simple on purpose. If something can be simpler, it should be.

Four years in software engineering taught me that the best code is the code you don't write. I build systems that scale without collapsing under their own weight, using boring, proven technology over the latest hype. When a framework isn't needed, I don't add one.

Lately, that same mindset went into game development, where real-time performance keeps me honest. I build because I enjoy the puzzle, and I care about performance. Like that time I chased down a 100MB bug in production.

My Toolbelt

I use whatever gets the job done efficiently. Here is my current core stack:

Philosophy: "Ship it, measure it, delete the code you don't need." I lean toward boring, proven technology over chasing trends — and I pick up new tools fast when the problem actually calls for them.
